Research Adminstrators Resource HomeThis is a featured page

Welcome to the online encyclopedia known as the Research Admnistrators Resource (RAR). RAR is a new tool designed to help all research administrators find their way through the massive labyrinth known as Research Administration (RA). Unfortunately the RAR is brand new and doesn't have much content just yet. If you consider yourself an RA guru and would like to contribute to the knowledge bank, please apply to become a writer (see link at right). Trust me, the criteria aren't difficult to meet! Next thing you know, you'll be lending a real helping hand to lots of people lost in the windings of this old RA maze.

If you are familiar with Wikipedia then you already know what this site is all about. This site works just like it does, except here you have to apply to be a writer (again, not a big deal, just click the link and you'll be off in no time). Eventually everyone will be able to contribute, but for now we're keeping it simple and low-key so as to build a solid foundation to start from.

Here's what RAR needs right away:

-General articles about research admin
-Helpful tidbits that apply generally to RA folks around the country
-Links and other connections to other RA resources, on the web as well as in print
-Anything you think the RA public needs to know about this mysterious field of knowledge
